PUNCH busts a move at Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival

PUNCH danced, grooved and moved to the rhythmic sounds of cowbells, goat skin drums, brass instruments and whistles with The Bahamas Junkanoo Legends – a band featuring 50 of the world’s top Junkanoo-ers at the Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival on July 30. In its 44th year, the festival is a major international event and the largest cultural festival of its kind in North America.

With a total of six masqueraders (two from PUNCH) and 50 band members showcasing a kaleidoscope of colour and sound, we are proud to say, The Bahamas Junkanoo Legends WON the B band category and as a result will perform in the top rated A band group in 2012!!

Great experience and great memories!
